Instructions

  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the ground beef and 1 teaspoon of kosher salt, cooking until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Stir in the minced garlic, diced onion, smoked paprika, and black pepper, cooking for an additional 3 minutes.
  • Add the potatoes, water, yellow mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and ketchup to the skillet; stir until well combined.
  • Cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top, cover again, and let it melt for about 5 minutes.
