Ingredients

1/4 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons (1/4 stick) butter melted
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1/4 cup honey
1 tablespoon chopped fresh summer savory
1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
2 large sweet onions peeled cut horizontally into 1/2-inch thick slices
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, melted butter, Dijon mustard, honey, summer savory, and Worcestershire sauce until well combined.
- Preheat your grill to medium heat and brush the grill grates with oil.
- Place the onion slices on a large plate and brush both sides with the honey-mustard sauce.
- Grill the onions for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are tender and have nice grill marks.
- Remove from the grill, drizzle with any leftover honey-mustard sauce, and serve warm.
Notes
For extra flavor, let the onions marinate in the sauce for 30 minutes before grilling. Adjust grilling time based on thickness of onion slices.
