Ingredients
Bread flour
sifted
Granulated sugar
Salt
Instant dry yeast
Lukewarm water (105℉ to 115℉)
Olive Oil for greasing
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine 4 cups of bread flour, 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 2 teaspoons of instant dry yeast.
- Pour in 1 and 1/2 cups of lukewarm water and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours, or until doubled in size.
- Once risen, punch down the dough and roll it out to your desired thickness for pizza.
Notes
For best results, use bread flour for a chewy crust. You can also let the dough rise in the refrigerator overnight for enhanced flavor.
