5 Tbsp. unsalted butter
melted
2 cloves garlic
finely chopped
1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
Juice and zest from 1/2 lemon
1 lemon
sliced into rounds
Chopped fresh parsley
for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Arrange the tilapia fillets in the prepared baking dish, and season them with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper.
- In a bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic, crushed red pepper flakes, lemon juice, and zest. Mix well.
- Pour the butter mixture evenly over the tilapia fillets.
- Top the fillets with lemon slices.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
