These Baked Ham and Cheese Rolls are a delightful combination of flaky crescent dough, savory ham, and melted cheese, served with a sweet and tangy honey mustard sauce. Perfect for a quick lunch or party appetizer!
Ingredients
1 package (about 12 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
8 oz sliced ham (deli ham works well)
8 oz sliced cheese (Swiss
cheddar
or your choice)
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional)
1 tablespoon poppy seeds (optional
for topping)
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1/4 cup honey
1 tablespoon mayonnaise (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.
- Place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on each triangle.
- If desired, spread a little Dijon mustard on top of the ham and cheese.
- Roll up the dough, starting from the wide end, and place the rolls on a baking sheet.
- Sprinkle poppy seeds on top if using.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- While the rolls are baking, mix the honey mustard sauce ingredients in a small bowl.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the baked rolls warm with the honey mustard sauce on the side.
